Dear Stephanie…

Questions asked of the Innkeeper

1.     Why is your physical address, directions and map not located on your Web site?

Answer:  We want to keep Serenity safe and serene.  We are a Inn/Spa and wedding destination.  Which means, most guests come to visit us for a particular purpose.  Usually that purpose is to celebrate a “special occasion” or extended stay to rejuvenate and relax on our more than 20-acres of pastoral hill country beauty.

We are not open for public viewing except by pre-arranged appointment and on special occasions such as our Christmas Open House & Bed and Breakfast Tour.

This assures you the peace, serenity, and safety that an “Inn along the way” does not.

In addition: Because we offer nicer accommodations, more services and amenities, women traveling in small groups or alone, without a male companion, will feel safe and secure.

2.     What is the difference between a chain motel or hotel and your bed and breakfast spa/resort?

Answer:  Distinctiveness:  We offer a delicate balance of privacy, personal warmth, charm, and cater to your personal comfort and the appeal of our setting itself.

3.     May we bring our children?

Answer:  Children under sixteen years old are not allowed.  We are an adult getaway and do not cater to families.  There are many lovely inns where children are welcome and offer age appropriate facilities and activities.  We do not.  Exception to the rule:  We do offer Mother  & Daughter spa retreats and usually this is a very special occasion for mother and daughter who want to spend some quiet time and enjoy some much needed pampering.

Our “Sweet Sixteen” package is one of our favorites.

4.     May we bring our dog?

Answer:  Yes.  Your beloved dog (20 lbs. and under) can be a guest as well.  We offer two secluded suites which feature sunrooms that adjoin the main living area.  These areas are appropriate for canine guests.  We ask that you never leave your pet unattended and he/she remain on a leash while visiting the outdoors.  Good dogs that don’t bark only please!

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED…

Why staying at our bed and breakfast estate is a truly special and unique experience?

1.     A crackling fire beside your bed will surely promote sweet dreams.

2.     Beautiful breakfasts served to your cottage door, which always taste as good as they look, and include a special delight.  For example: Champagne grapes!

3.     Vintage pillowcases hand ironed and lovingly cared for.

4.     The rhythmic trickling of wind chimes outside your balcony or, the sound of a water fountain outside your cottage door, will surely sooth your soul.

5.     Pillow top mattresses and soft, high quality linens.

6.     Fresh, sweet smelling flowers beside your bed.

7.     Beautifully decorated, sweet smelling, un-cluttered and comfortable rooms.

8.     Our location is divine.   We are located in the heart of the hill country where Lavender fields, peach orchards, wild flowers fields, grape vineyards and olive gardens fill the air with their sweet country fragrance.  In addition, we are blessed with the wonderful healing presence of creeks, falls, streams, and lakes.

The beauty, uniqueness, quality and excellence of a wedding destination, or country inn, rest in “the eye of the beholder”.  We hope our web site will delight and entice you.  But more importantly, that we will live up to and beyond its representation.  Our love for the hill country, our property, and the fine art of Innkeeping is true.

In all sincerity….Wishing a cozy stay!
